Harry Sherman

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Sherman is Chief Executive Officer and a founding partner of Wildcatter, and has been an active developer and investor, focusing on real estate development. Skeet has more than 50 years of experience in strategic investment, management, acquisitions and financing, and has acquired or developed more than half a billion in assets, companies, products and properties, either as a principal, on a fee basis, or for his own account. In years prior, Mr. Sherman was active in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and Tennessee, as well as Costa Rica and the Bahamas, in commercial real estate, single and multi-family housing, hotel and resort, and mixed-use land and marina real estate markets. Mr. Sherman has spearheaded a strategic transformation of the companies, leading the progress to vertically integrate the Wildcatter companies. He has provided the impetus for growth within the firm and in connection with various acquisitions expanding our capabilities, and is instrumental in the strategic and successful initiatives of Wildcatter.

Paul Valdez

Chief Corporate Officer

Mr. Valdez is Chief Corporate Officer and a founding partner of Wildcatter, with over forty years of experience in banking, finance, management, and mergers and acquisitions. He manages his family office’s real estate, bank, and investment interests, and trusts. Mr. Valdez is trustee for the Sara H. Galindo Family Trust, the Napoleon Avenue Trust, and the Fairmount Avenue Trust. He was previously Chief Financial Officer for the billion-dollar commercial banking group Texans Commercial Capital, Director of Audit and Manager for the CIT Group, and began his career at First Gibraltar Bank. He is a graduate of the University of Texas San Antonio with a BBA in accounting and finance, and the Harvard Business School Advanced Leadership Institute Program. Mr. Valdez has a history of corporate and philanthropic leadership. He cofounded a bank holding company, and served as a member of the board of directors of investment portfolio companies, and various not-for-profit boards, and was appointed by the Texas Supreme Court as a member of the State Bar of Texas District 6 Grievance Committee. Mr. Valdez is an active investor, and manages the firm’s corporate, regulatory, legal and compliance matters.

Jack McCormack

Advisory Board Member

Mr. McCormack is a Wildcatter advisory board member, and brings over 40 years of management experience in the energy field, including construction, maintenance and operations. He was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of McDermott International, Inc., the multi-billion-dollar energy services company. Mr. McCormack spent twelve years with this leading engineering, procurement, construction and installation company specializing in complex oil and gas projects worldwide. Prior to McDermott, Mr. McCormack was Senior Vice President of Operations with Burns and Roe, which provided engineering, construction and maintenance services for wastewater treatment and advanced nuclear technology, desalinization, energy efficiency and pollution control. Before that, he was Executive Vice President, for CRSS, one of the largest general building contractors in the United States, specializing in construction, cogeneration design, environmental engineering and science services. Jack is a graduate of Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science, and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School Executive Development Program.
Jack Turnage

Jack Turnage

Senior Vice President of Real Estate

Mr. Turnage is a Senior Vice President of Real Estate for Wildcatter. His responsibilities encompass the full spectrum of the development process, including acquisition, entitlement, design coordination, procurement, and sales of both residential and commercial developments. He is at the forefront of The Greenbelt development, a transformative master-planned community, and is actively involved in spearheading additional developments throughout the North Texas region. He provides leadership in the daily operations of the firm, overseeing project management, marketing strategies, and stakeholder relations to drive the continued success of the company’s growing portfolio. His ability to navigate complex development landscapes and foster key partnership has contributed significantly to the firm’s expansion and long-term strategic positioning. Mr. Turnage earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Mississippi, with a concentration in real estate and finance, complemented by a minor in entrepreneurship. His educational background, combined with hands-on industry experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of real estate investment, financial structuring, and large-scale development execution. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, and enjoys the outdoors, hunting, and fishing.
Denise Griffin - Head Shot

Denise Griffin

Senior Vice President

Mrs. Griffin is a Senior Vice President of Wildcatter, and has overseen administrative, corporate, human resources, and marketing functions for the Wildcatter Companies since 2017. Griffin has over twenty-five years of experience in planning and strategy, and developing goals, and is involved in the day-to-day management of the company. She is responsible for the development and implementation of company policies, programs, and systems, and managing the administrative and human resources functions of the companies. An advocate for continuous learning and growth, Denise is committed to fostering an environment where employees thrive and continue to drive the firm’s success. Prior to Wildcatter, Denise served as director of human resources for a national telecom staffing firm, a Texas distribution company and a regional logistics company. She is a graduate of Midwestern State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management.

Dennis Carpenter

Vice President of Community Relations

Mr. Carpenter is a Vice President of Community Relations for Wildcatter. He has served since 2020 as the face of the firm to the community, often working closely with media, local government, and community organizations. He is responsible for developing and implementing community outreach programs and initiatives, building and maintaining positive relationships, and recommending appropriate strategies or programs. Dennis has a long history of working across a diverse portfolio of commercial and philanthropic ventures and helps execute high impact projects that bridge enterprise growth with social impact. He serves on multiple boards and committees in the Greenville community. A graduate of Bentley University, he has over 40 years of experience serving in the investment services, risk management, and insurance sectors.
